Military Nurse Tributes

Honoring those, still living, who have served not only through the profession of nursing, but to our country, in the United States military. From time to time, we have the privilege and opportunity to honor our military nursing veterans when attending the Honor Flight welcome home events offered here in Wisconsin.

On Monday May 25th, 2020, we honored LTJG Helen L. Keough. With honor flights on hold at this time, we paid her a special visit. Nurse Helen served from 1968-1970 at a USN hospital in CA.

On 9/7/2019, we honored Lt. Colonel Patricia Murray in Milwaukee. She served for over 20 years in the USAF Nurse Corps.

On 9/7/2019 WNHG attended the Badger Honor Flight welcome home event in Madison. WNHG members pictured here are Nurses: Ley, Karasek, Buckmaster, and Kissinger-Wolf.
